The Athletics Function Room at the Blacktown Olympic Park, Eastern Rd, Rooty Hill to watch the Australian Baseball League "Sydney Blue Sox vs. The Adelaide Bite" baseball game.
Catch a train - to/from either Rooty Hill Railway Station or Doonside Railway Station - a 20 minute walk from either.

How much?
$60 per head provides access to the Athletics Function Room, buffet meal, beer/wine/soft drinks and entry to the "big game" between "Sydney Blue Sox vs. The Adelaide Bite.

Separately, Ashleigh Thomson, Development Officer - Alumni at Macquarie University Sport & Aquatic Centre has informed Phil J. that MU's Alumini is conducting a Hall of Fame Exhibition "Origins of Our Sporting Heritage" from 22nd October to early May 2011. Each former student who visits the Hall of Fame Exhibition to commemorate the Uni's 40 years of sporting heritage will receive a commemorative pin. The initial above four pics will be on display, together with Arm's old green MUBC uniform and my old glove and a 40 year old baseball that I probably dropped in the outfield at vital times.
Ashleigh has informed Phil that the "Origins of Our Sporting Heritage" exhibition is open Monday - Friday 10am - 7pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am - 5pm. So say before Christmas we'd better organise a joint w'end visit to relive the good old days and pick-up our 40 year commemorative pin, in case any of us snuff it over the Festive Season. (Hope that isn't putting the mocker on us Grumpy Old Men).
