Spring Cycle Ride Day Happy Snaps - 16 Oct 2011

Volunteers in Sectors C & D were signing the 'sign-on sheet' at 5:50am this morning in Upper Fort Street

On the Cahill Expressway heading West twds the windy tunnel that leads onto the Harbour Bridge entrance

Below pics were snapped later in the morning also from the Cahill Expressway

Inside the windy tunnel that leads onto the Harbour Bridge entrance

The incline onto the Harbour Bridge was a tad steep for some

Now out of the windy tunnel cyclists are riding north twds the old toll booths

Fellow volunteer, Anthony M. just south of where cyclists leave the Harbour Bridge at the Upper Fort St barrier gate outside the Sydney Observatory

The Sydney Observatory building in the background.  One suspects that 'junior' in the back was oblivious to passing that historic landmark on a truly majestic Spring morn'.

Age was not a barrier, but likely registered in the 16km route to Pyrmont

Above pic was snapped on the Cahill Expressway after the final cyclist went thru, just before the roadway was reopened by the guys in yellow in below pic removing those yellow barriers
