A very direct train travels from Grenoble, via Chambery Challes, to our 1st Base Camp of St Jean de Maurienne, departs Grenoble at 7:03am, 7:54am and possibly 9:32am arriving at our 1st Base Camp within 2¼ hours - later trips are available above, but only on Sundays.
Train fare prices are listed below. ‘Print @ home’ after on-line booking and ‘Print @ the station’ tickets have no delivery fees.
If arriving after 4th Sept eg. David aka CricketTragic who arrives the next day, catch train from CDG Airport Paris to Lyon to Valence to St Jean de Maurienne station that runs Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, and slightly different times on Sunday and Monday
