Bank Teller's rap-up of inaugural Cinderella Century to Mt White - 93km - 18 cyclists

ToothFairy, Sarah aka Physio, Jules, Frances 'n Debs each received a dozen long stem red roses from Roses Only this Thurssday.  The flowers were delivered to their work address, except Jules who isn't seeing much of the office since the birth of bonny Sarah G.  Click on: Roses recipients.

Navigator, Whippet, Heineken, Samurai, Tony aka QuietAchiever, Tornado, BeanCounter, Pacific Pete, Frank aka Expat, Scribe, KoalaBear, John aka Auckland, Martin 'n Tyro Olivier, who hales from Avalon and joined our ride at Mt White, made-up the male contingent.

In keeping with the change of seasons, we copped a customary belt of fog during the Bobbin Head decent.  Scribe ain't cultured.  However, even he he felt the exhilaration from nature descending amidst the lush greenery with pockets of sunlight amidst the customary April fog.

A familiar shot from Kalkari Reserve after our first KOM Climb where BeanCounter set a new PB of 9:59

The above pic, taken today from the northern end of the Old Hawkesbury Bridge, shows lots of low cloud hovering over the rail line bridge which leads (on RHS) to Hawkesbury River station.  Seemingly, picturesque Brooklyn Pier may have resembled London's Waterloo Bridge during a pea-souper.

Too many to name at Pie in the Sky under balmy Autumn sunshine after 65km

Whilst most of the gang would be surprised, KoalaBear and BankTeller have had a few hard fought battles up the final KOM Climb from the Bobbin Head sandstone toilet block.  Today was no exception with not a bike length between 'em over the 3.95km ascent to the Nth Turra' TollBooth KOM, until the water fountain on LHS 20m past the Nth Turra' gates, whereupon BankTeller unexpectedly peeled-off, reputedly 'cause he was cramping.

Not a pro shot, taken post-ride at Nth Turra' what with the top of Frank's head and Babs' shoulder - bottom of pic.  But they sure have done a
good job with the attractions at the Corner Café as John aka Auckland, being served therein, may have mused, although he was likely preoccupied with the pasta salad the young dude in black was preparing him.

Twasn't any different last Winter when the below pic of Samurai was snapped on an earlier post ride repaste at the
Corner Café.
