Hornsby car park - ETR 2:30pm

Bank Teller's  rap-up of Windsor, Richmond, Springwood, Penrith, North Rocks Rd loop -  9 cyclists - 114km for the five diehards who didn't 'Uie' at Windsor

T'was a glorious blue sky, no wind, day which you need when you head West approaching mid-Winter.  We snagged beaut cafes at both Windsor and Springwood which captured the Sun's warmth - very important unless you are a Polar Bear

Vimiera Rd starters didn't return 'til 5:04pm, even after catching the train from Penrith to Westmead station which enabled a 3km back-roads cut-thru Parramatta Park & Cumberland Hospital to access North Rocks Rd.  Perhaps we dallied too long at sunny cafes, or maybe the sun sets too early around the Winter solstice.  The days are now getting longer, albeit ever so slowly, but will continue get colder 'til end-July.  See Sunrise/Sunset times and July lowest ever max temp is 7.7o 19 July 1868
