Syd took a 'sea change' a few years ago by stepping away from a career in marketing to follow his personal interest in 'all things mechanical' by leasing premises on Sydney's northern beaches to set up a automotive mechanic's shop.  Not unsurprisingly, Syd does all his own bike repairs and has 'built up a few bikes'.
