12.       Employing early retirees who have a proven +20 year track-record in voluntary local sports administration who possess Ten Sport Administration Attributes, as Recreational Exercise Consultants will -

            *          be highly cost-effective to Health Agencies' budgets; and

*          provide an early transition to a 5 year career (max) to assist many Interested Adults introduce Positive Lifestyle Changes to Materially Alter Lifestyle

Casual empiricism of 20 or so contemporaries across NSW, aged from 40 to late 50s, who have devoted a large portion of their lives to encourage fellow adults into their preferred sports (ie. Recreational Road Cycling, Road Cycle Racing, Mountain Biking, Triathlon, Bushwalking/Hiking, Ocean Kayaking & Canoeing, Lap Swimming and Ocean Swimming) concludes that each possesses the Ten Sport Administration Attributes in varying degrees.  Some contemporaries are stronger on networking, whilst others have greater practical experience/knowledge of Common Law re obligations of inviting members of the public to participate in a recreational activity which involves some dangers.  Still others have a more detailed knowledge of Training Procedures.

Employing early retirees who have a +10 year track-record in the administration who satisfy the Accreditation Benchmarks as Recreational Exercise Consultants for a Rigorous Recreational Exercise Activity will -

*           be highly cost effective to health budgets, at approx. half the cost of attracting and cultivating younger applicants with comparable business acumen, however, without such networking, understand of associated professional indemnity and public liability risks, or peer recognition; and

*           provide an early transition to a 5 year (max) role which marshals their experience and enthusiasm to assist Interested Adults Materially Alter Lifestyle;

Scope exists for a few Recreational Exercise Consultant to changeover to a 3 year (max) Administrative Role.

A successful Pilot is predicated upon sourcing 20 Recreational Exercise Consultants who each possess Ten Sport Administration Attributes.  Through his networking across some of the above Rigorous Recreational Exercise Activities, the Writer knows several contemporaries who possess the Ten Sport Administration Attributes in varying degrees and could satisfy the Accreditation Benchmarks.  Some of these are listed in Section 10  These contemporaries similarly know other volunteer sports administrators with a similar unbridled passion for their chosen sport.  These people are highly proficient salesmen because they believe in the product they have been selling to fellow Australians for many years.  They rarely take the foot off the pedal because of the satisfaction they derive in evidencing others enhance their quality of life.
