16.(g)    Preparatory Research Programme over a 16 Months Tenure Of Preparatory Research Programme with a low cost Preparatory Research Programme Budget due to Six Reasons For Preparatory Research Programme

Section 16(f) makes the case for a Primary Research Programme which profiles 50 Volunteers train for and attempt Two Legendary Endurance Cycling Challenges during the 10 Months Tenure Of Primary Research Programme

Six Reasons For Preparatory Research Programme explains -

a)         the merit of a Preparatory Research Programme which would commence on 13 August 2011 almost 8 months prior to the 10 Months Tenure Of Primary Research Programme commencing on 1 April 2012;

b)         a 16 Months Tenure Of Preparatory Research Programme involving a 6 Months Training Schedule for 150 'Team YELP'  Participants in 5 States and ACT to join 3 person teams in a LCCBSG to either swim, cycle or run in their states Annual Endurance Triathlon.

c)         the Preparatory Research Programme would -

            *          commence in Tasmania on 13 Aug 2011 when 9 Tasmania 'Team YELP'  Participants as members of three 'Team Entries' begin their 6 Months Training Schedule to attempt one leg of the Hell in the Hills, Sheffield Tas 'Olympic Distance' Triathlon on Sun, 12 Feb 2012; and

            *          conclude on Sun, 11 Dec 2012 when 12 ACT 'Team YELP'  Participants as members of four 'Team Entries', having trained in their 6 Months Training Schedule since 10 June 2012, attempt on leg of the the annual Canberra City, ACT Half IronMan on Sun, 9 Dec 2012.

The Preparatory Research Programme would -

(i)         involve a higher proportion of Abled 'Team YELP'  Participants than in the Primary Research Programme;

(ii)        be a precursor, 'dress rehearsal' for the Primary Research Programme; and

(iii)       develop the Return On YELP Capex Software and performance evaluation systems to achieve the Two "Deal Breaker" Purposes Of The Primary Research Programme.

Annual Endurance Sporting Event(s) schedules a plethora of esteemed, highly regarded, once-a-year endurance sporting events.  Of the 9 RREAs all except Lap Swimming Beyond 400m offers at least two Annual Endurance Sporting Event(s) some of which could be used in a Preparatory Research Programme.

However, the 'Teams Entries Category' in the 6 ' Team YELP'  Triathlons, offers Unique Opportunities Available In "Team Entries" Annual Endurance Triathlons which 150 'Team YELP'  Participants, drawn pro rata from 4 States and ACT, could train for during a 6 Months Training Schedule under the Preparatory Research ProgrammeNSW is not included in the Preparatory Research Programme as the Pilot which will source 5,200 Participants, known as the Pilot Sample, is scheduled to be held in NSW.

ABC1 could produce, in 3 x 60 min episodes, a highly persuasive 'Team YELP'  RTV Promotion titled 'Team YELP'  Triathlon Challenge as set out in Visual Content Of ABC1's Three 'Team YELP'  RTV Promotions.

With the 50 runners needing to run between 16km and a 21km half marathon, and the 50 cyclists riding between 60km and 90km, the Preparatory Research Programme would need to commence 6 months prior to each of the event dates ie. the Sheffield Tasmania contingent of 9 'Team YELP'  Participants (from 150 'in toto') would need to be in training by 13 Aug 2011.

Inclusion of a Preparatory Research Programme which commenced on 30 Apr 2010 would extend the Pilot  to a  21½ Months Tenure Of Pilot concluding on 30 June 2013.

As noted in 6 Months Training Schedule, -

A).        the Business Plan Developer, if appointed Head Consultant For Pilot, Two Research Programmes And Conditions Precedent To Propagation, could co-ordinate triathlon clubs, swimming clubs, recreational bicycle groups and running clubs in each state capital and Canberra to train the 150 'Team YELP'  Participants across Australia in their selected discipline of swimming, cycling or running.  However, support from the Research Programme Team and Interested Parties would naturally be welcomed; and

B).        merit exists in all 150 'Team YELP'  Participants coming under the wing of triathlon clubs in their capital city at least one month prior to attempting their State's Annual Endurance Triathlon.  That is, in SA, three or four -

(i)         local district swimming clubs in the Adelaide metropolitan area would take responsibility for most of the 6 rookie swimmers in Perth; and

(ii)        local district community bicycle groups in the Adelaide metropolitan area would take responsibility for most of the 6 rookie cyclists; and

(iii)       local district running clubs in the Adelaide metropolitan area would take responsibility for most of the 6 rookie runners,

             with responsibility for these 18 rookies being transferred to three or four triathlon clubs in the Adelaide metropolitan area by 20 Feb 2010, so that each swimmer could get to know their cyclist and runner, and visa versa, thereby build up camaraderie/bonhomie in a LCCBSG  - integral to maximum commitment.

The Preparatory Research Programme Budget is low as the Research Programme Team will measure weight loss and performance improvements on the 150 'Team YELP'  Participants from data largely collected via e-Learning and e-Research Techniques on the YELP Website.

Explained in Section 16(g), Preparatory Research Programme, Preparatory Research Programme Budget, 'Team YELP'  RTV Promotion, 'Team YELP'  Triathlon Challenge, Two "Deal Breaker" Purposes Of The Primary Research Programme, "Hilly Rides Challenge", Section 16(c) and Section 12.
